Je eigen water kunnen filteren is in mijn opinie het aller belangrijkste dat je kan doen qua zelfvoorzienend leven. Ik ben dan ook altijd op zoek en altijd geïnteresseerd in interessante manieren van water filteren, en zo kwam ik terecht bij Aqua-Vitae. Ik had al veel gehoord over de waterfilters van Aqualine. Zij hebben namelijk een heel uniek concept. In tegenstelling tot veel waterfilters die enkel het water ontdoen van schadelijke stoffen (micro organismen, bacteriën, PFAS, metalen, medicijn resten,…) kan je met de Aqualine filter zowel ja water ontdoen van schadelijke stoffen als ook mineraliseren. Dit is een stap die veel andere waterfilters vaak overslagen. Het resultaat is dat je water wel proper is, maar dat het eigenlijk “dood” water is waar je lichaam ook niet zo veel aan heeft. Je lichaam heeft namelijk mineralen nodig in je drinkwater :) De Aqualine filter van Aqua-Vitae is hier dus heel uniek in. Je water passeert eerst de reguliere filter en komt dan terecht in een reservoir met mineraal steentjes. Hier zal het water dus aan mineralisatie doen. Met deze filter heb je ook heel veel opties. Zo kan je kiezen voor een Redox filtering of een PH neutrale filtering. Je kan er regenwater mee filteren, je kan er putwater mee filteren en uiteraard kan je er ook kraanwater mee filteren.
Wat ik zelf ook heel interessant vind is een filter systeem aan de kraan. We gebruiken ons kraanwater namelijk vaak om te koken, om koffie te zetten,… Hierbij is het dan ook interessant om een filter onder de gootsteen te plaatsen die gelijk je water kan filteren voor het uit de kraan komt. Bij Aqua-Vitae heeft men mij dan ook een leuke filter aangeraden: de Aqua Logic. Deze filter bestaat uit 100% actief koolstof gecombineerd met ultra membranen voor een uitstekende filtering van je kraanwater. Je kan em gebruiken onder de gootsteen, maar je kan hem dus ook gebruiken in een camper of een boot :) Heel handig dus. De Aqua Logic zorgt voor een reductie van 99% van bacteriën en andere opgeloste stoffen en micro organismen. Wij vinden deze filter alvast geweldig :)
