Due to all happening in the world right now, Iodine tablets are a must have for every prepper. The best part of this one? They are all free at your local pharmacy :)
There are some thing you need to know about Iodine tablets. They are mostly recommended for pregnant women, kids ‘till the age of 18 and adults ‘till the age of 40. When a nuclear disaster happened, do not ever take the iodine tablets in before your government made you clear it is needed to take them in. Normally the government always broadcasts you this message via the channels available at that very moment.
Handy to know: iodine tablets do not expire ‘till 10 years after expiration date.
Now what do iodine tablets actually do to you? They over saturate the final gland so that any radiation is not able to get in your final gland and cause cancer. They are not a miracle drug for radiation in any way, but they do help you to avoid final gland cancer.
