Paris Fashion Week is always crazy and hectic with usually back to back shows, however this season felt much more relaxed and I really enjoyed it. Instead of rushing from show to show I concentrated on the shows I really wanted to see. I had a great time in Paris and I have enjoyed every moment! The hotel was great and of course we also visited some symbolic places! I suppose you can already guess which ones!
The fashion show that I loved the most was the Valentin Yudashkin one! March 6, the couturier presented the new prêt-à-porter, fall-winter collection for 2016-2017. Valentin Yudashkin centered around simple clean silhouettes, influenced by the amazing natural beauty of the Urals and Siberia.
With energised models strutting the runway, the couturier offers new forms and proportions in voluminous long coats with casual-sportive cut, which reminds us of traditional Russian fur coats that were worn at the beginning of the twentieth century.
Valentin Yudashkin's fall-winter collection combines elegance, sport, romance, and luxury. The designer uses a variety of materials, complex textures of fabrics and a glamorous decor, creating original and spectacular looks!
I also spotted some celebrities in the fashion world, like the AMAZING Nicole Warne! She is one of the most visible innovators on Australia’s fashion landscape and at the top of the most influential bloggers of today. I’m very certain that you have already heard about her amazing fashion blog: Garypeppergirl!
We stayed in the The Westin Paris – Vendôme Hotel. The hotel is only a 10 minute walk to Concorde, the Louvre Museum and the Place Vendôme. It is home to some of the city’s most splendid, historic, and accommodating meeting rooms, including three grand salons adorned with exquisite Second Empire-style frescoes.
While being in Paris we could obviously not resist to visit the Eiffel Tower! It was a windy, but sunny day, perfect to take some nice pictures. We also took some amazing pictures of the Arc De Triomphe… And being a girl, I off course wanted to go shopping at the Champs Elyseés!
