Spring garlic soil check

Since the weather is getting all sunny and the temperatures are rising, I found today the be a good day to do a garlic check and a garden check in general. My garlic has now been in the soil since winter and the leaves are starting to grow and look good. I also planted onions during winter and they also look very good as we speak!
I needed to weed a little too but I am very confident all will turn out fine. I never planted garlic before and I am super curious to see how big it will be once it is all done and ready.
As for planting the garlic, I just used regular garlic from the store and that turned out good so far :)
In a few weeks it will be time to put some compost in the ground to stimulate the growing process. Not sure what kind of compost I will be using, but very sure I wil figure that out soon :)
Since winter was not that harsh on the garden plants still remaining, I am very happy the plants didn’t need to go to harsh freezing temperatures either.
I will be posting another update once the garlic is harvested and I will hopefully be able to show you a big healthy result ;)
