Since I love good teeth, but I also love the environment, I have been looking for brands that help avoid spilling plastic tubes into the environment. A plastic free bathroom is my current goal, and that is how I heard about WeSmyle.
WeSmyle is all about the environment and climate. They don’t work with regular toothpaste in a tube, but with toothpaste tablets. Now I know that some of you don’t know yet how this works, so let me explain a bit more about it :) Tubes were a great invention in the 19th century, but they’ve become a real problem now. Each year, over 1.5 billion of them end up in landfills and our oceans, where they barely decompose. Due to the different layers of plastic in a tube, sometimes surrounding a thin layer of aluminium, recycling is technically and economically (virtually) impossible and that’s so sad.
Brush mints have partly the same ingredients as regular toothpaste, but without the harmful and unhealthy stuff inside ☺ Now I see that you are asking me how to use these babies? Very easy: crush a mint with your teeth and use your wet bamboo toothbrush to brush your teeth for 2 minutes or more. The mints have a fresh peppermint taste, take it from me :) The mints do foam due to the natural coco oil extract.
Thanks to the WeSmyle subscription service, you will never run out of mints to brush your teeth, handy right?? You can ofc. also buy anything separately.
You can pick their products with or without fluoride.
I would say, check them out and let me know what you think ;)
You can find out more about the WeSmyle here or on @we.smyle.
